Automatic Houston Concert reviews
A show for everyone!
Terrific was Star Wars in Concert at the Nassau Coliseum! I saw in attendance at least 3 generations. Incredible was the orchestra as was Anthony Daniels. The entire arena erupted into applause the minute he opened his mouth. Spectacular was the montage of scenes. An encore was even played by the Royal Philharmonic (encouraged by Automatic's prodding).
I do have two criticisms, however:
1) Chaotic was the outside concession area where it was a thrill to see some Star Wars characters and memorabilia. A simple roped off line would have helped. Pushing little kids out of the way was witnessed by me, pathetic "big kids" (a.k.a. adults) so that they could have their photo op.
2) Obscured was the view at the 300 level seats of the screen which was not mentioned on the ordering site. The top portion of the screen was obstructed by two large pieces of equipment extending from the ceiling, a real bummer.
